I've been drawing my whole life. It wasn't until 2014 when I was encouraged to begin painting. I began using acrylics but soon became bored and began experimenting with oils. Whether I am painting the skin tone on a portrait or the tonal value of a leaf, I love working with oils and mixing pigment. When I'm not working on an interior design project, you can be found me painting a commission for one of my projects or for a client. I truly have a passion for painting.
Commissions are definitely welcomed and are the bulk of my work.
I need four things in order to get started;
the size of the piece, the colors that you'd like to incorporate,
a basic understanding of the composition of the piece.
and 50% deposit. Once I finish the painting I will send you images so we can make any necessary changes to the piece, if need be.
My goal in creating every piece is for you to get
as much enjoyment out of it, as much as I did painting it for you.
The current lead time is 12 weeks from the date the deposit is received.
"Courage"
"Courage"
"Courage" was painted for the Sandpiper home.
During the redesign of this beautiful home, I decided to leave an area of a very large wall, for a special painting.
After 2 years I came up with a concept and then did a sketch for what I visualized . The concept of this painting was of the two homeowners coming together to form one family, sharing their love , to celebrate their marriage and having the courage to do all those things and more.
Hidden within the trees are images of their 4-four legged babies, their house number, and many other numbers that stand for love, caring, and as life comes full circle.

"Watching Over"
"Watching Over"
"Watching Over" was painted for the Lake Seminole project.
In the Master bedroom the bed wall needed something special. The location of this home was the source of the inspiration behind this painting and the colors used was dictated by the bedding textiles. This painting now turns this master bedroom not only a space that's custom for my client, it also turns it into a very special place to relax, sleep and re-energize.

"I Will Be"
"I Will Be"
"I Will Be" was painted for a clients dining room.
The story behind this painting is one of family. It was painted for a special lady who with her husband had four children.
She lost her husband, her friend, and her love several years ago. But she alone had to raise the four children. Building a new home without her love, raising the children and learning to survive alone. This painting represents to me their life. The mother bird with the twig(lower left) building a home a nest for the children. Each child is represented by being a bird, flying and leaving and returning nearby. Other symbols on the tree trunk are the heart for love, the cross for Christ, the medical symbol, since both were in the medical field. And lastly.....in the upper right corner there's a sparrow leaving. this little bird represents her husband. Leaving the nest.
"Between the Links"
"Between the Links"
"Between the Links" was painted for a clients main bedroom.
These two paintings are very unique as they are painted on birch wood panels. The clients love of trees and nature inspired the use of birch. The subject for these two paintings that measure 24" x 72" each was their love of the golf course. The colors in the piece came from the colors used not only in the bedroom but also used throughout the house.
"Finding Contentment"
"Finding Contentment"
"Finding Contentment" was painted for clients home located on Tampa Bay. The inspiration behind these piece was simply the location. The Blue Heron of the bay area has beautiful coloration and was the perfect subject for my clients kitchen wall. Blending well with her freshly painted blue kitchen island and beautiful hand made backsplash tiles.
